THE 21ST CENTURY NOISE is a three-piece punk/rock-band with fast and catchy two-and-a-half-minute-tracks. They are a hardworking and very appreciated live band and have been on the road more or less since the band started four years ago.
The 21st Century Noise debut album was released in the band’s home base of Sweden late October 2004. The band decided early on that the best way to get what they wanted was to release the debut album on their own label Get Off My Records. The distribution in Scandinavia goes through Sound Pollution Distribution.
"It's Alright, It's OK" and "Let's Leave" are the two singles released from the album. Both have been play listed on Swedish National Radio P3 as well as college radio. The videos have been spinning at ZTV and MTV etc. There has also been some international airplay for the singles, after a showcase at Access All Areas (Music biz event in Stockholm) in November 2004, Steve Lamacq at BBC6 had the band’s music in his well-known UK radio show.
The 21st Century Noise were also featured in the high credibility New York lifestyle magazine Paper Magazine for their music issue June/July 2005 as one of the most promising Swedish groups.
In the summer of 2004 the band was a part of the major Swedish festival tour “Kalas”, which really put The 21st Century Noise on the map as a great live band! They love to be on stage and are constantly touring clubs and festivals in Scandinavia as well as international gigs.
November 12th 2005 they are booked for a gig in London at Barfly.
